This site is maintained by ALTs (Assistant Language Teachers) working in Susono city, Shizuoka prefecture, Japan.
Susono maintains a sister city relationship with Frankston, Australia where some of the ALTs originally come from.
The aim of ALT Susono is to maintain a kind of journal of the life of an ALT and as a basic guide for English speaking foreigners living in Susono. At the same time we want to introduce cool things going on in and near Susono city so that if you are a new ALT or a visitor you will have some good ideas of things to do when you arrive.
